The Basic Bucket Emergency Preparedness Kit is designed to provide one person with essential emergency supplies for three days (72 hours). That's how long FEMA estimates you may be without basic services or how long it can take emergency personnel to reach you in the event of a disaster. This disaster kit is most suitable for those who believe they will remain at home should disaster strike.

Supplies in this bucket emergency kit are stored inside a crush-resistant bucket container that also functions as a toilet with the snap on toilet seat lid. This basic bucket emergency kit features emergency food and water and sanitation supplies. A portable toilet, toilet liners, toilet paper, and disinfectant are all included.  The food and water in this emergency kit have a 5 year shelf life and are approved by the U.S. Coast Guard and the Canadian Transport Authority. The emergency food is also safe for vegetarians, contains no nuts, and is Kosher.

Note that this Basic Bucket Emergency Preparedness Kit contains only essential emergency supplies and other items are needed to make it compliant with FEMA's Guidelines. 

This all-purpose bucket emergency kit is suitable for use in emergency situations including: earthquakes, tornadoes, winter storms, thunderstorms, hurricanes, floods, wildfires, landslides, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, and extreme heat and cold.
